Conrad Ludlow had an illustrious twenty-year career as a principal dancer with both the San Francisco Ballet and New York City Ballet. He established exciting partnerships with such well-known ballerinas as Violette Verdy, Melissa Hayden, Maria Tallchief, Allegra Kent, Patricia McBride and Suzanne Farrell. Upon retiring from NYCB Conrad founded Ballet Oklahoma and created more than twenty ballets for the company. In 1985 he joined the University of Utah Ballet Department as resident choreographer and Assistant Professor. He frequently served as Artistic Director for Utah Ballet and Ballet Ensemble productions. His ballets have been seen on film and television and with professional ballet companies throughout the United States.
Conrad retired from the University of Utah's Ballet Department in 2010. He is now teaching for Master Classes, Ballet Workshops, and expanding his work in choreography.
